Photography Competitions 2008 - 2009

I have posted and will be maintaining a new page for announcements about photography competitions - as much to remind myself as everybody else! Hopefully, this will make it easy for everyone to keep up to date with the latest competitions.

About stickyrice.co.uk

This Web site, stickyrice.co.uk, is devoted to my travel photography: predominantly from South and South-east Asia, (most notably photos from India, Thailand, Laos and Myanmar/Burma). Recently, I have begun to include some travelogues (I call them Tall Tales) - personal recollections from my independent world travel during the past 27 years.

Yes, but I've come here looking for sticky rice information/pictures

Yes; a few people do! Read more about sticky rice at our sister website .

More about the photography and the Web site

The site contains photography from all parts of the globe, but primarily still concentrates on South-east Asia. The new design includes a section I call Tall Tales, ('exaggerated stories'), after the phrase much used in the land of the Kiwi, (bird, not fruit). The Tall Tales are recollections of particular events which I have experienced during my years of travelling the globe. These are often sketchy, I'll admit, and doubtless embellished or polished where elements are uncertain, but they are all based on a personal experience.
