Planning a day trip which included Clevedon Pier, I was looking for some inspiration, when I came across this fabulous site of Black and White Photography by Nobuyuki Taguchi. Fabulous stuff, encompassing all manner of subjects, all beautifully handled. Some of the finest digital B&W work I've seen. Check out the Black and White rainbow and By the Church on Sunday Morning. Lovely stuff!

Alan Mackenzie

Alan Mackenzie has some gorgeous pictures both on his blog and on Flickr.

I found him when searching online for locations for starling 'murmurations' and discovered the images he has captured down by the South Coast at Brighton.

He covers a lot of subject matter, mostly wildlife and landscapes, but also long exposure daylight photography, details, macro, and the occasional portrait (more of these please Alan!)
